Upon entering into the Hire Agreement with BOURNEX, you have a 14-day cooling-off period during which you may cancel the agreement. Additionally, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of receiving the Equipment.

Outside these statutory periods, BOURNEX understands that circumstances can change. Thus, we offer the option to cancel your plan at any time, provided you give us 30 days’ notice. In such cases, you may return your bike and any attached accessories. However, please retain any separate accessories purchased with your plan (like helmets, removable lights, phone cases, locks, pannier bags, and child seats), as you will need to settle any remaining costs for these items.

If you decide to cancel, please inform us promptly, and we will arrange for the collection of your e-bike and attached equipment hired under the plan for a collection fee. Alternatively, you can return your bike to our office at no charge. Contact us at sales@bournex.com for arrangements.

Upon cancellation, our mechanics will assess the bike’s condition. Normal wear and tear are expected, but the bike should be returned without damage as per the hire agreement terms. If there is damage to the returned equipment, you may need to pay a portion of the hire package value, covering our reasonable repair costs.

BOURNEX will notify your employer to cancel your salary sacrifice. Please note that all hire payments made so far, except within the statutory cancellation periods, are non-refundable.
